About ABS Electrical Services

As an approved contractor enrolled with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting, ABS Electrical Services Ltd can offer complete design, construction, inspection, testing and certification for all commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installations.

We have been established since 1990 and have recently become a Limited Company. We have carried out works at Universities, hospitals, colleges, schools, retails outlets, offices, office blocks, factories and private dwellings.

Design

From the initial enquiry to drawings, installations, documentation for new works, additions and alterations to existing installations, ABS design to optimise safety and savings. We use Autocad and the NICEIC endorsed computer aided design software available from Amtech for schematics, calculations, reports all to the 16th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671.

Construction

All installations works carried out to BS7671 and by approved electricians and apprentices. Depending on the size of the contract, works are supervised by the qualified manager or electrical engineer with health, safety and welfare of the public, other trades, people connected or affected by the works in mind at all times. All materials and plant used are approved by BS/EN.

Inspection and Testing

Inspection and testing engineers are trained to C&G 2391 with computer based Amtech Certification for periodic inspection reports, electrical installation certification and minor works certification. Amtech is system endorsed and error trapped by the NICEIC.

Fire alarm and emergency lighting testing and inspecting to BS5839 and BS5266 complete with certification. Lightning protection systems inspected and tested to BS6651 complete with certification.
